AUTOMOTIVE PROTECTION

Q. What is paint protection?

A. Paint Protection is a single stage product, moisture setting resin-based product (MSR) which includes synthetic wax resins, UV filters and gloss enhancers with a high percentage of PTFE.  It is highly resistant to bird droppings and pollutants.

Q. Is this worth it?

A. Yes, the Paint Protection is designed to protect the new vehicle’s paintwork against oxidation, corrosion, petrol, oil and detergents. It is a long life glaze formulated for new cars or paintwork in good condition. Contains no abrasives so adds to the vehicles protective systems rather than diminishing them by abrasion (as occurs with conventional polishes). Contains selected resins and natural waxes, which deposit on the surface protecting the paintwork from the effects of Pollution, Weathering and rain.

Q. What is fabric protection?

A. When fabric protection is applied your upholstery will retain its luxurious showroom look and feel no matter what sort of punishment you throw at or spill on it.  The product adheres to each individual fibre eliminating absorption of oil and water based stains including coffee. Simply clean up spills with a damp cloth.

Q. What is plastic, vinyl and leather protection?

A. Plastic, Vinyl and Leather Protection coats and protects your vehicle’s interior vinyl, plastic and leather surfaces. It is a specialised emulsion containing silicon and plasticisers which rejuvenate and give treated surfaces added protection from shrinkage, cracking, splitting and discolouration caused by harmful effects of ultra violet light.

Q. Will PVL suit my car?

A. Yes, Plastic, Vinyl and Leather Protection is available with a Gloss or Satin finish.

HOME AND OFFICE

Q. How long does it take for the tint to dry?

A. It is important not to touch your windows for at least 48 hours after installation. It is also important not to clean the glass during the drying period, normally 21 days. A hazy or milky appearance and moisture bubbles will be evident soon after initial application. Do not be concerned; all will slowly disappear during the curing process. This may take more than 21 days in cold or wet climates.

Q. How do I clean the tint?

A. Master Tint Residential Film is virtually maintenance-free. Cleaning is easy; a soft, clean cloth and soapy water is all you need to keep your windows sparkling clean. Do not use abrasive cloths, brushes or powder.

FILM CARE AND MAINTENANCE

DO NOT wind windows down for 48 hours. In the event of damp weather, do not wind down windows for at least 72 hours. The film may appear milky, hazy and cloudy around 5-7 days after application, this is caused by water between the film and glass. This condition is normal in the drying process and will clear to a consistent appearance with a few days.

DO NOT clean the inside of your windows for 7 days.
DO NOT use coarse cloths, brushes or abrasive type cleaning agents to clean the film.
DO NOT apply suction cuts stickers, decals or labels to window film.

To ensure the film correctly adheres to the glass, a fine border is left around the edges. If this edge is broken or tampered with, foreign particles may affect the adhesive properties of the product and will void this warranty.

A few small spots called “points” may remain, these are minute particles which will not affect the performance of the film in any way. Every precaution is taken to minimize these spots but they are inherent with a solvent based adhesive system.

Film illegality now or in future in not, nor shall it be, considered to be covered as to removal or replacement under this warranty.
